SHORT


I'll make this short-ish. I haven't been requiring people
to write on poems. I'm trying to get at a bigger picture
kind of thing. What I do want is more input from YOU
on how a particular group of poems is working as a
WHOLE. Be prepared to have an opinion/ideas . . .

We will, like last Tuesday, look at manuscripts. I'll
bring a NO and MAYBE and YES box so it feels like
we're getting somewhere.

Consider process while looking at Nancy's poems. I think
her book is awfully strong. It amazes me really.

Bring the fat anthology and read all of William Bronk,
Ruth Stone, John Berryman, and Anne Sexton. Now
there's an odd group for you.
