This is partly alphabetic, partly based on who made it to
class on time on Wednesday, or at all . . .

Remember, read this knowing a book is going to be the end
result so comment on sequence, on which poems should
stay in, which cut. Edit it--should the end or beginning be
lopped off? Are there clunky lines?

Are there poems in which the quality simply drops off
too dramatically?

Use the workshop sheets I handed out.

In class next time I'll talk about some of the publishing
issues Joseph Bates discussed. We will--you will--talk about
individual Ruefle poems. I'll assign critics for the blogs. We
will discuss the first ten poems in the Samyn book (and
what to expect). I'll have looked at your posted poems on
the blogs and may say a few words about that (and give
credit where credit is due).

Also, you will each be reviewing a past issue of Analecta
(you'll get your own year).
